Went to download the new Grails MP3s after seeing the last post here, and saw that Grails played about 30 miles away (Nottingham, UK) a couple of days ago... only one solution - road trip to Leeds from Leicester.

They played in the upstairs room of a pub that hadn't been redecorated for about seventy years. Downstairs a few old men watched the football on TV whilst Isis-hoodied strangers congregated on the other side of the bar. About 80 people watched the bands (first on: 3 members of Grails doing one of the guitarists singer/songwriter songs; second on: an accordian/double bass/flute combo). At the front people were sat cross-legged on the floor, and the room was at capacity. Grails played for about 45 minutes, without breaks between songs until near the end when people started spontaneously clapping. The audience was completely silent throughout the performances. Grails seemed confused when they were called back for more, but played Space Prophet Dogon as an encore.

One minute silence was observed for the death of John Peel.

07:42 pm - Isis tour dates
Does anyone know where to get up-to-date info on the Isis tour? Their website says they'll be adding more shows, but I already know of two shows that are not listed on their website yet. Any info is greatly appreciated.

The Neurosis website has been talking about a show in D.C. on Nov. 28th for some time now, but this week's Philadelphia Weekly has an ad for Neurosis & Jarboe at the TLA on that day.

I live in Philly, please, somebody, tell me I can see them and that the site just needs to be updated.
